About the Role
AMI Group’s Victoria Branch (located in Somerville) are seeking a motivated person with a real and dedicated interest in the marine industry to join our team as a full time Internal Sales person, (with some warehouse/store duties as needed) who will receive on the job training for servicing marine safety equipment.
Daily Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the sales team with general telephone and counter sales
- Store person and internal sales duties
- Quote, order and general data entry
- Receiving, dispatch and stock monitoring
- Servicing of marine based safety equipment, Life Rafts and Life Jackets working under supervision with support from senior staff
About you:
- A real interest in the Marine Industry and participation in boating
- High level of communication skills and professionalism in your presentation
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a small team environment
- Be mature, motivated, organised and efficient
- Good attention to detail and procedures as servicing of safety equipment has strict requirements
- A desire to make a long term career in the Marine Industry and progress within the company
- Willingness to learn a diverse range of marine products, marine safety products and services.
- Computer literate
- Current Victorian driver’s license
- Forklift license preferred, but not essential
