The 50th Anniversary of the prestigious Sydney Boat Show is a not to be missed event. Not only does it boast a brand new venue especially designed to cater to the latest conveniences and modern facilities, but exhibitors will be marking the occasion with the best they have to offer.

AMI Marine is excited to announce a recent distribution agreement with reputable and long established Swiss marine supplier VDO.

Combining 60 years of innovative technology with the elegance of timeless design, VDO instruments are the first choice for marine engine manufactures as VDO products cover the full spectrum of combination gauges, remotes, integrated systems and more, with products to suit any sailing or motor craft bridge.

Primary product groups include AcquaLink®, a performance designed range that uses solely premium materials, such as mineral anti-fog glass lenses, to achieve the highest levels of readability and reliability. AcquaLink® products, including their unique multifunction displays, are ISO 14001:2009 certified in line with the manufacturer’s environmentally responsible manufacture policies.

MAP Marine Autopilot

MAP Marine Autopilot, or MAP for short, is a state of the art autonomous boat control device, allowing users to completely control their vessel’s movement via an app on their handheld device. The mobile app interfaces with a compact, marine proofed unit, housing a GPS module, Wi-Fi, INS and solid state compass. This unit connects via Wi-Fi to a handheld android or iOS app device that facilitates rudder control, battery monitor and other steering commands, allowing the vessel to travel along a pre-selected route to its destination, and at any time the Skipper can take control with optional remote steering. AMI have recently signed a distribution agreement with MAP for the Australasian region.

New TMQ Colour Autopilot on Show

Well known for marine electronics designed and manufactured in Brisbane Australia, TMQ’s reliable Autopilots extend their range with the new release AP47C, a compact new pilot with colour screen and simplified setup and installation. This debut product on show, along with a selection from leading Radar and Sounder manufacturer JRC, Wipers from Exalto, and watermakes from Parker Hannifin.
