The LOOKOUT System
LOOKOUT is an AI-powered marine camera system that detects and tracks hazards on the water. It uses computer vision to identify vessels, buoys, debris, whales, and people in the water.
The system combines data from three cameras: Night Vision, Daytime Wide & Zoom, Docking View and 360º Scan. It integrates chart data, AIS, radar, and NMEA 2000 data into a 3D augmented reality visualization on any moder MFD, acting as a second set of eyes to reduce operator workload and prevent collisions.
