01-09-2017

AMI offer a broad selection across electronic, communications, safety, environmental, electro-mechanical and general deck and hull products that is supported by a qualified service network Australia wide.

Command and Control

Popular choices for WA boaters include innovative Zipwake Dynamic Trim Control System, recently upgraded to include new world-first V-Shaped Interceptors ideal for centreline mount or filling space between twin outboards or stern drives. Zipwake has delivered consistently across Australian vessels of various sizes, offering the benefit of reduced drag and wake resulting in improved fuel efficiency, safety and performance. Zipwake is a rapidly actuating fully automatic system, up to five times faster than other products on the market.

Side Power, a company producing thruster systems since 1908 which have been installed on over 100,000 vessels worldwide, continue to add to their range of over 120 unique thruster systems across electric, AC and hydraulic vessel setups. A recent update to their Proportional Upgrade kit - a thruster system with unique hold function for proportional throttle, PPC power control units now offer enhanced durability for included solenoid, IPC intelligence for additonal safety, and low loss and active cooling. Like other Side-Power products, these units include S-Link intelligent control cable wiring for plug and play simplicity.

Ultra Bright, Ultra Low Profile Underwater LEDs

New to Australian customers, and recently debuting in 2016, Macris Industries MIU series underwater LED lights create powerful underwater effects whilst being extremely low profile (as thick as the average smartphone) and highly impact proof. The lights are available in a palette of standard colours and four model sizes, including the tiny 200mm MIUL10, packing a 1500+ lumen punch to light up your wake.

Macris lights are very simple to install, and IP rated as the unit is completely encapsulated in composite laminate - Please remove, this is the utility lights

Water makers for all boats and budgets

Sea Recovery's flagship, fully automatic model, the Aquamatic will accompany AMI's watermaker selection on display. The latest 2017 version Aquamatic features a 7" independent portable touch screen, able to be installed at any convenient location onboard, replacing the need for the traditional display on the unit. This easier to read screen shows a schematic view of the watermaker layout, and the benefit of manually selecting a fresh water flush cycle. Power efficient, the new display has a sleep mode, initialising standby after 5 minutes of inactivity.

Parker offer a watermaker to suit all boats and budgets, including the LTM500 manual watermaker, an ideal entry level model with manual operation.

Timeless Instruments

Last but not least VDO, a long established and reputable Swiss manufacturer of premium quality combination and multifunctional instrumentation will be on display on the AMI Group stand. Beyond gauges, VDO offer state of the art solutions to provide customers with instantaneous, accurate nautical information. VDO's AcquaLink TFT multifunctional displays allow customisation of up to 40 different data pages, TFT displays can be daisy chained with other AcquaLink® gauges, displays or NavControls using the unique VDO Bus or directly connected to the NMEA 2000® backbone (optional adapter cable required) for simple installation on any yacht. 7" TFTs are equipped with capacitive multi-touch screens to slide between pages, whereas 4.3" displays require the use of a NavControl unit for data input and operation.

VDO's OceanLink suite of instruments are information powerhouses, multifunctional tachometers and NMEA 2000® gateways with direct access to the engine CAN Bus, ideal for the modern sports and leisure boat market.
