Macris Industries New MIU15 V8 Underwater LED Light

The MIU15 V8 is an evolution of Macris’ most popular underwater LED. MIU15 V8 is 5% brighter than previous models at 3800 fixture lumens, and is a popular choice for boats 8-15m. As with all Macris underwater models, the product is made from scratch resistant composite laminate, ensuring the light is low profile, impact proof and virtually maintenance free (cleaning is as simple as wiping with a cloth).

Featuring a potted, fully enclosed design, the light is waterproof and offers excellent ingress protection when installed correctly.

The new model features easy installation with jacketed cable and efficient ‘one time’ connector plug. New copper internal core enhances thermal conductivity, resulting in increased performance.

MIU15 V8 incorporates Active Thermal Control technology, preventing overheating by controlling the power draw of the lights based on the internal temperature of the light fixture. This will result in dimming of the light until the temperature is reduced.
